Shipping With The Ultimate Trailers

Our goal is to keep shipping costs down for the customer.

The best way we have found to do this is by folding the trailer into its consolidated storage position.

This allows us to ship more safely and at nearly half the shipping cost than if it was fully assembled.

The Trade-Off

The trade-off is that a small amount of assembly time (1-2 hours) is required when the trailer is delivered. A forklift is required to unload the trailer. If you have access to one, great. If not, we can ship it to a local dealer and they can help you with this. For safety purposes, we recommend that assembly is done by someone comfortable with mechanical assembly. It’s not a complicated process, but you certainly do want to be certain it’s done properly. If that person is you, again, great. If you don’t know anyone you can again ask for help from your dealer. They may charge you a fee (typically between $175 and $350, depending on where you live), but it’s worth it for the peace of mind in knowing everything is properly put together.

If you are going to take this on yourself, or with the help of a friend, almost all of the assembly can be done by 1 person, but you will need one other person for one step that takes about 15 seconds.

If you need to go with the dealer option, we can help if you need it. It will take us additional time since we’re likely not going to be familiar with the local area where you are.

In general, once we request a truck, your trailer will ship within a few days especially if the customer is near a major interstate highway. Every location has a different timeframe, depending on where you live and how often trucks travel in your vicinity. States which generally take a bit longer to ship to are Maine and Washington. Our worst case scenario has been a wait of 3 weeks for a truck to get a trailer shipped … but that’s an extraordinary exception.

We have a lot of experience helping customers with this process so please don’t be intimidated and feel free to call with and questions, comments or concerns. We’re grateful for you business and want to be sure you get off to the best possible start with your new trailer!
